You’ll recognize Andress’ hit “More Hearts Than Mine” right off the bat. The slower ballad paints the picture of bringing someone new home to meet the family & the scenarios that they’ll be put in, going into detail about the interactions they’ll share. Just when you think it’s a love song, she hits you with “If we break up, I’ll be fine. But, you’ll be breaking more hearts than mine.” Rolling Stone has applauded her “honest and heartbreaking” lyrics that she pairs with a vocal delivery described by the New York Times as “steady, calm, alive.” “I’m not trying to be a rebel, BUT I am putting myself on the line, because that’s who I am.” Andress says of her writing. “The goal is to connect to people, and that moment is all I want.” Her talent has paved the way for her to write with names like Sam Hunt, Alicia Keys, & Charlie XCX.
