Walker Hayes is a native of Mobile, Alabama, who grew up dividing his time between music and sports. He & his wife moved to Nashville in 2005, & he signed a song-publishing deal shortly after. He landed a deal with Mercury with a demo he recorded for Keith Urban, &quickly moved to Capital Records. He released his debut single, “Pants,” in 2010, which reached 60 on the Hot Country Songs chart. He released his first full-length album, “Reason to Rhyme” in 2011. Over the next few years, Hayes worked as a song-writer, and continued to do so when Capital dropped him. He signed with SMACK/Spark in 2016 & released 2 EPs, “8Tracks Vol. 1: Good S**t” & ” 8Tracks Vol. 2: Break the Internet.” Hayes landed a deal with Monument in 2017 & landed his first Top 10 hit with “You Broke Up With Me.” The song earned gold certification & paved the way for his next full-length album, “boom.” In 2018, came “90s Country,” followed by “Don’t Let Her” in 2019.
